Blink 182 fue un trío estadounidense que tocaban estilo Punk Rock y Pop Punk. El grupo se formó en el año 1992 y estaba originalmente constituido por Tom Delonge (cantante y guitarrista) y Mark Hoppus (cantante y bajista), quienes rápidamente reclutaron a Scot Rainor (batería), en Poway, un barrio periférico de San Diego,California.
blink-182 se hizo famoso por sus melodías simples y pegadizas, por plasmar las inquietudes de los adolescentes y sus bromas subidas de tono. Los compositores Delonge y Hoppus citan en sus influencias a grupos de punk rock como NOFX, The Descents y Sceeching Weasel; sin embargo la producción y la composición de la banda siempre hicieron canciones estilo punk-rock y tambien pop-punk, se hicieron famosos por canciones como "All the Small Things", "Feeling This", "First Date", "Down", "Adam’s Song", "What’s My Age Again", "The Rock Show", "Dammit" y "I Miss You". Su último disco, en comparación con los anteriores, tiene una mayor experimentación con la música y una sofisticación de las letras.
